Slayer

Slayer is paid melee DPS in TBH: Task Bar Hero with aggressive kits that often trade health for damage. That can work — but in a taskbar idle game, risky melee geometry is harder to AFK than ranged seats.

This page is honest: Slayer is fun and playable, and still often the wrong first DLC purchase for efficiency-focused players.

Role

Alternative damage seat that overlaps Knight’s melee space more than Hunter/Sorcerer. Strongest when healing is reliable and you are willing to check the window more often.

Why AFK is harder

Ranged DPS seats fail more gracefully when something goes wrong at the edge of the screen. HP-sacrifice / berserk patterns punish neglect. If your play pattern is “open TBH and ignore it for three hours,” prefer Sorcerer/Hunter.

Stat priority

1. Damage multipliers your kit scales with
2. Attack Speed
3. Sustain (lifesteal / regen) to offset HP costs
4. Enough raw HP that sacrifice effects do not brick AFK runs

Party requirements

• Pair with Priest if you commit to Spayer — non-negotiable for most accounts
• Keep a real tank or a proven frontline plan
• Do not buy Slayer to “fix” a missing tank — use Knight
